Sorry about the lack of updates, I've been taking a break this holiday season, been doing a lot of job hunting and what not.

Things should go into full swing after The New Years.

Babel, that movie you didn't see that has Brad Pitt

The title Babel comes from the biblical story which is the Jewish/Christian way of explaining how God created cultures. People started to speak in different languages at the tower of Babel, and then God seperated them. We still use the phrase Babbling when we don't understand what the heck other people are talking about.

Babel is a very intelligent film, weaving different stories together from different parts of the globe. The film is about communication, or the lack there of and the consequences from it. Not being able to speak to a deaf girl, not telling your parents what you've done, not getting enough information from a police investigation. The best way to solve something, is through a complete understanding of everyone simply by communicating with each other.

I honestly do not like to write to much about the films story. But it is great, and Brad Pitt shares as much screen time as everybody else from the different story lines. Definitely worth renting or downloading.
